– Says, priority will be given to implementing the government’s priority schemes at the grassroots level
Moga, August 18 – Mr Vishesh Sarangal, a 2013-batch IAS officer, assumed office as the Deputy Commissioner of Moga district today. Earlier, he was posted as Deputy Commissioner of Gurdaspur. Apart from this, he has also served as Deputy Commissioner in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Kapurthala, and Jalandhar districts.
While talking to the media, he said that his priority will be to take the government’s priority schemes to the grassroots level and ensure that every eligible person gets the benefit of these schemes. Transparency, continuity, and speed will be brought into government works and functions, and better administrative services will be provided to the residents of Moga district. He also appealed to the residents of the district to cooperate with the district administration in the development of Moga district and other works.
On assuming charge, he held a meeting with the district officials and instructed them to perform their duties with dedication. He said that public services should be provided within the stipulated time frame. Work should be done free from all kinds of pressure.
Earlier, he was given a guard of honor by the Moga police. On this occasion, Mrs. Harkirat Kaur Chane, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G), Mr. Sarangpreet Singh Aujla, SDM Moga, Mr. Harkanwaljit Singh SDM Baghapurana, Mrs. Subhi Angra Assistant Commissioner (G), and other officials were also present.
