Chandigarh, August 30:– In a continued effort to make the city free from unauthorized vendors,the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, enforcement wing teams today conducted extensive enforcement drives across Sectors 45, 46, 48, 36, 37, 15, and 19. These operations were conducted under the directions of Sh. Vinay Partap Singh, IAS, Commissioner and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner, Mrs. Isha Kamboj and Enforcement Inspectors of their respective areas.
During the drive, a large number of unauthorized items on public land, including auto rickshaws and food vendor stalls, were seized. Additionally, a total of 47 challans were issued to violators. The Municipal Corporation is committed to ensuring that such enforcement actions are carried out regularly and impartially, upholding the city’s standards of cleanliness, safety, and order.
The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh reaffirms its dedication to maintaining public spaces free from encroachments, thereby ensuring a better quality of life for all citizens.
