Chandigarh, 20th May 2023: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication Alumni Association (IIMCAA) – Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh Chapter organised ‘Connections 2023’ – annual alumni meet – at Chandigarh Press Club today. Alumni from across the sectors based in these states attended the meet and discussed about the current scenario of the communication industry.
The meet was presided by the Chapter President Alice Gurram and it was addressed by senior alumni Dr Umesh Ghrera, Dr Rupesh K Singh, Pratibha Sharma, Tushar Kant, Animesh Biswas, Ritesh Verma, Dadan Vishwakarma, Divya Goyal, Annesha Baruah, Atul Gupta, Chandra Bhushan, Vandana Yadav, Komal Badodekar and Narender Soni.
It was decided to institute an award for mass communication professionals based in the upper north region.
